Thanks Grant. In today’s polictical climate, some might think my post smacks of islamaphobia; not at all. I neither fear nor hate Islam but I will inform. Our community mourned the loss of a 26-year-old young woman who was using her life in service to the poor and disenfranchised before it was extinguished
by a hateful ideology that continues to masquerade as peaceful. Two Turkish women, a mother and daughter, who courageously helped Kayla in her aid work and then spoke out on her behalf were both later found murdered.

Wafa’s life experiences, and countless others, will tell you it is not just some extrememe faction of Islam
that is evil but the problem lies with Islam’s core beliefs and a God who hates.
