3 New Findings Research Suggests Post Coronavirus

Dear Friends,

Did you know? New research suggests that:

  1. The coronavirus pandemic has americans eating healthier and buying foods to boost their immunity.  “Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food” said Hippocrates, the father of modern medicine.

ONE SIMPLE CHANGE that altered my health dramatically in 1999 was the addition of over 17 fruits, vegetables and grains in a simple capsule form called Juice Plus+ . I had just come through 2 years of Grad school and the stress on my immune system and the multiple UTI’s and URI’s continued when I returned to Prescott and started clinical hours at WYGC. I knew if I didn’t change my lifestyle quick I was going under. Fortunately, a business colleague cared enough to share with me what at that time I thought was Jetson Food. Today, there are many knock-offs but Juice Plus+ remains the Gold Standard of research with over 30 double-blind placebo clinical studies published in peer-reviewed clinical journals that support what Grandma always said, “Eat your fruits and vegetables.” It almost always takes a major shake up, health scare, house on fire moment for lifestyle changes to happen; whether for individuals, couples or families. The Coronavirus has certainly shook us all. Let’s load up on antioxidants!

2. Divorce rates rose 34% during the pandemic. And sadly, they were highest in the bible belt states. We clearly have a problem within the Christian population. The combination of stress, unemployment, financial strain, death of loved ones, illness, homeschooling children, mental illnesses, and more has put a significant strain on relationships. If you, or someone you know and love is in need of compassionate coaching  I have gone digital and am offering online individual, couples and family coaching. I work from a Strength-Based Positive Psychology model and have over 20 years experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor and Resliency Coach. Let me help you or please refer me.

3. Hopelessness and suicide rates have risen too. Americans are reporting symptoms of depression three times more than they were before the pandemic, according to a recent study published in JAMA. For this, and so many other reasons, I have launched RESILIENCY GROUPS. These are 8 Week life-changing and interactive Zoom Groups based on my book Pain, Power & Promise (max. 6 participants). We will turn setbacks into comebacks and discover Pain’s Hidden Pearls and how to create19 Resilient Responses to life’s hardships.

Next 8 Week Resiliency Group BEGINS September 17 – November 5th, 2020. Every THURSDAY 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT $15 savings available through September 15th! Reserve Your Seat Now.

Wishing you a blessed Labor Day Weekend.

“Yet there is one ray of hope: his compassion never ends. It is only the Lord’s mercies that have kept us from complete destruction.Great is his faithfulness; his loving-kindness begins afresh each day.” Lam. 3:22-23

As always, praying you find a new mercy today and everyday,
